Clay County Family Resource Center

The FRC is a community-led, family informed collaborative network of partners focused on strengthening protective factors for our community’s growingly diverse families.

Collective Vision for the Project:

  • Strengthening families through access to equitable services, resources, and supports
  • Providing accessible, comprehensive, and culturally responsive programming
  • Fostering strong, healthy, and resilient families through collaboration
  • Being a welcoming hub for all families to build better future themselves and our community
  • Building community through connections and social capital
  • Serving all family as defined by each family

What is a Family resource center?

According to the National Family Strengthening Network (NFSN) a Family Resource Center is “a community hub of support, services and opportunities for families.” FRC’s are:

  • Strengths focused and family-centered
  • Multigenerational; designed to serve the needs of all members of a household
  • Reflective of community and responsive to community needs
  • Low or no cost to participants
  • Focused on creating an environment that encourages families to support one another and develop their social connections reducing isolation and stress. 

How can Clay County Family Resource Center help Families?

The Clay County Family Resource Center is here to help families find and use local resources. We can give provide information, connect families with services, and help fill our forms or applications.

We also offer family activities and support, working together with other groups in the community. Everything we offer is free and open to all families in Clay County.

Who Does FRC Serve?

The Family Resource Center is focused on serving families living in Clay County with youth under the age of 18 in their households.
